New Home, Texas, is just down the road from Lubbock and is growing exponentially! The city of New Home offers the closeness and amenities of Lubbock with all the benefits of living in a small town. Additionally, Lubbock is just down Slide Road from New Home, so residents of the town have easy and quick access to healthcare, grocery stores, activities, restaurants, businesses, and more.

Like many surrounding small towns across the Caprock, New Home started as a farming and ranching community in the early 1900s. The economy of New Home has always been closely linked to farming, specifically cotton farming, and the gin in New Home works hard to produce thousands of bales each season. The students at New Home are valued, educated, and cared for from the time they are learning to read until they are ready to go into the world. While New Home is a small community, it is growing rapidly due to its proximity to Lubbock. As of 2010, New Home had a population of 324 but has grown immensely in the last decade. The school moved up a classification in 2018 and has continued to attract new students as New Home has grown in population.
